It's been a great year at Nate Mack and it is coming to a close this next week. Thank you, families, for partnering with us to provide safe and engaging learning experiences for all students. Please read the information below so that you and your child(ren) have a smooth and fun end to this year.
Monday is our Yearbook Signing Party from 2:15 to 3:00 in the MP room and all students and staff are invited to join the fun. If you pre-ordered a yearbook, your child will receive it Monday afternoon, before dismissal. If you would still like to purchase a yearbook, we have a very limited number available in the front office.
Tuesday is Field Day, our Family and Friendship Picnic, and our Celebration of Diversity.
Field Day will take place from 8:10 to 10:30 am. All station volunteers are asked to check in at the front office between 7:30 and 8:00 and then report to Coach Spencer out on the field.
For our Family and Friendship Picnic, all families are invited to eat lunch on the playground with their child and friends during their regularly scheduled lunchtime:

To avoid congestion, please park on the street (Carolcrest, La Mesa, or Viewcrest) and enter through Gate 4 (on Carolcrest). On the playground, there will be tables in the shade, or you may want to bring a towel or blanket to sit together on the grass field.
Our first-ever Celebration of Diversity will take place, beginning at 11:00 am in the multipurpose room. All students and families are invited to visit the 15 booths that represent the backgrounds and traditions of our Nate Mack Families. Each grade level is assigned to a 30-minute block to visit and learn. The schedule is noted below:

Wednesday is the day for our Honor Assemblies for students in grades 1-4 who are receiving recognition for outstanding attendance, academic growth, citizenship, and achievement. If your child is receiving an award, invitations to the assembly were already sent home. As a reminder, the schedule is listed below:
First Grade 9:10
Second Grade 12:45
Third Grade 8:10
Fourth Grade 10:10
Fifth grade promotion will take place at 6:00 pm at Del Sol High School. Fifth grade students will receive their awards at promotion.
Thursday is kindergarten promotion for Mrs. Davis's (Room 2) at 8:30 and Mrs. Cooke's students (Room 24) at 10:00.
The fifth graders will take on the Nate Mack staff in the annual Kick Ball Game from 8:30 to 9:30 on the Nate Mack Field.
Dismissal will take place at 11:30. At that time we will say goodbye for summer vacation.
